Come explore the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant grounds at the Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area. Choose from multiple route options, this is kind of a “choose your own adventure” ride.
The short route is family friendly, mostly flat, and has one very short climb that can be easily walked if necessary. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53744448
Medium course offers two distance options. You can pick 25 miles and stay entirely within SPSRA, or choose a 32 mile loop and go up Burma Rd and through Devil’s Lake State Park before a short jaunt down Hwy 113 before re-entering SPSRA. We’re calling that option “Enhanced”.
The Long course is simply two laps of your choice of the medium route options.

Water and restroom facilities are available at the start/finish line. Pit toilets available along the route. Food trucks, coffee, and a party atmosphere will welcome you when you get to the finish line!
Riders on all routes will experience pavement, gravel, dirt, grass, and old rough asphalt. Road bikes are going to have a less enjoyable time, bring a bike with wider, knobby tires.
This is not a race, but if you want to time yourself and compete with your friends, go for it! The ride is completely self-supported, so bring anything you think you will need and dress for the weather – event will be held rain or shine. All proceeds go to support the Baraboo Area Mountain Bike Association (BAMBA) in our mission to develop bike trails in the Sauk County area.
PLEASE NOTE! A Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission pass is required for parking at the Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area. Please make sure you either have your State Park sticker on your vehicle or purchase a one-day pass for the day of the event.
